General Sightseeing Tour of Atlanta

See a running history of Atlanta's beginnings as a railroad town to it's rise to prominence as the capital of the New South.

The tour includes a ride around the downtown areas including the Georgia State Capitol, Underground Atlanta, Peachtree Street, Centennial Olympic Park, Martin Luther King, Jr. Historic District, Turner Field, and Jimmy Carter Museum. Continue past the Fox Theater, Margaret Mitchell House and High Museum of Art and selected Olympic venues. Other sites include the Governor's Mansion, Swan House and a drive through the exquisite Buckhead Residential District where many of Atlanta's "rich and famous" live.

Three-hour minimum. Many qroups wish to extend the basic tour with a stop for lunch at Underground Atlanta (or other restaurants) and/or stops at one of the above attractions or other sites. Allow from five to eight hours for the extended tour.
